Before I smoked weed I use to drink too much. Now that I smoke I can go weeks and months without a drink but I guess if I had no weed I would become an alcoholic again. Marijuana saved me from the liquid devil, thank you Mary Jane.

Before I started to grow and smoke weed again after a couple of years break (I should never have stopped), I had a bit of trouble with drink. I found myself drinking at crazy times of the day, the worst was probably when I was drinking shots of tequila(sp?) at 10:00 am. Now that I smoke again I don't even feel like booze any more. Actually, I tell a lie, I'm drinking a can of Fosters as I'm typing this but I don't drink anywhere near as much as I used to. Alcohol is fuckin poison man, a very addictive poison.
The difference between me (and other non-ignorant people) and most other drinkers is that I/we know how bad alcohol really is and that it kills more people than every ilegal drug combined. It really pisses me off when people who drink have a strong opinion against ilegal drugs. They think that because alcohol is legal it's OK.
