Newbie Grower needs help!
I want to start growing, but i want to know any tips one might have to offer.
I know next to nothing about growing, links and tips would help alot.
I'm moving back to NY, when renting a place (apt.) what should i look for ? 2nd bedroom walk in closet what?
How hard is it to get equipment without suspicion?
How expensive is it to start?
And how much would one plant supply me with?
I'd like to be able to have a lb or half whenever, or is that unreasonable?
tips to not getting caught? anything........... thanks.Dyranty Reviewed by Dyranty on . Newbie Grower needs help! I want to start growing, but i want to know any tips one might have to offer. The best things to do is read stuff on the internet and buy a book-
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...=UTF8&v=glance
Getting equipment is easy, there's nothing ilegal about horticultural lights or hydroponic equipment. If there's a hydro store near you get the equipment from there, and pay in cash if you're worried about suspicion.
It doesn't have to be expensive. In my setup the most expensive thing was the 250w HPS lamp which cost £125, the whole setup cost about £350 but that's because I built the cupboards from scratch so I had to buy all the wood. A walk-in closet would be a perfect place for your garden.
You can't say how much one plant will yield. It depends on the strain, genetics and growing conditions. A pound of bud is a lot for a first grow, aim a little lower until you know what you're doing. My setup is 3 feet x 2 feet and 5 feet high, it only supplies me with about 3 ounces but that's plenty for me.
Keep posting questions and stuff, the people on here will be happy to help you as much as possible to get your ganja garden up and running- good luck!

Newbie Grower needs help!
hello, i feel like sharing my experience with you....as my nickname says i am a new grower...finished mid of april my first harvest.....for first time it went better than ever expected despite all the troubles and mistakes done throughout the entire grow....in my mind i was saying 'Since you are going to do something illegal as this then do it right and properlly'...i never had any space problems...the most important thing to get is the light....as the place to grow....i chose mine after taking into consideration various factors such as security, ventilation, location (house), number of rooms (the more the better), any extra available storage space, owner, previous electricity bills etc....remember, security comes first and above all the others......
i had tight budget in the beginning, did a 5 week vegetation stage with a 400 watt hps for 10 ladies, during flowering added one more 400 watt haps and managed to finish@58 days with 4 large and 3 small indicas (twilight feminised from dutch passion)....used soil and almost no ferts.....total yield over one pound (600-650grams) dry (buds broke when touched) after a full 3 week period hanging upside down in the dark...i know the foto sucks but take my word for it, it's a lot of bud in there......correction,was....hahahahahahaha!

Most of the seed banks online will allow you to do a money order
you can get seeds all over the internet
just when you buy your seeds ..do not go for cheap if you can help it
try and get Feminised seed ..They are not cheap but well worth it
some of the strains for starters can be Bubblegum.Chronic,White widow,Nothern lights...there are so many different strains to choose fromA small price is paid for being who we are ..it\'s not the fact you haters don\'t get it ..it\'s the fact your own issues make up your life

Cheap doesn't necessarily mean low quality. My Afghani seeds only cost me £10 and I couldn't be happier with them.

Personally I used bag seed for my first grow, and it worked out fine - though you might not be so lucky. I also didn't want to put out any more cash than necessary.
