im a tranpant from rochester ny and spent a few years around coastal nc and sc that cival war thing wont be going away any time soon all ya can do is ignore it but there are some cool places not far from wilmington if you get a chance check out ocean isle or sunset beach lil furthur south is north myrtle beach sc nice town off season kinda crowded this time of year though its been a few years since ive lived there but most of the better weed we came across was in the myrtle beach area rather than wilmington if your up for the ride hatteras and nags head are a lil north of there and have many stoners around in the summer also okacroke island or is it ocrakoke cant remember but its a nice place kinda remote hope you can adjust the south isnt so bad once you get to know the people but it takes to time to grow on you kinda like a fungus or like kudzu also if you make it down to ocean isle take a few mins to go furthur south to calabash nc they have some kick ass seafood
