Generally speaking "I hope I'm remembering it right but if not it's close" Pure indica or mostly indica develops anywhere from 3 to 5 blades on the "compound Leaf" as pure sativa or mostly sativas grow from 5 to 9 blades per compound leaf. Another tell tale sign is indicas have short fat leaves as sativas have long skinny leaves. The high you get is variable considering which genotype you are growing. There are four genotypes in all. Genus Sativa, Genus Indica, Genus Ruderalis and Landrace strains. Landrace strains are wild strains that were the mother to all the different genotypes. Only 4 to 5 landrace strains exist and all cannabis strains were derived from them. Ruderalis has a special capibility called Auto-Flowering and does not require a 12/12 photoperiod to begin showing sex or flower.
But ruderalis is the least potent genotype of cannabis short of hemp which is genetically inbred to produce almost no THC. Now sativa will give you a more cerebral high while indica is more of a narcotic stone giving you a couch-lock feeling. "Generally a more body type stone". Landrace strains are very difficult to find in modern times due to prohibition resulting in the "cull of cannabis". Ok I'm rambling now and I have no idea why I gave you a 2 paragragh awnser to one simple question. Cya later I'm gonna go eat some pot butter. Peace
