I say both of you should smoke a bowl and relax.

I use my vaporgenie all the time. (www.vaporgenie.com - 50 bucks includes shipping.. ) I rarely overheat the herb, but it does happen on occasion. This is a bummer, but it's certainly not the end of the world, and it's sure as hell not gonna kill me. I can tell you, however, from first hand experience that you can get much higher using a vaporizer if you vape the same amount of weed as you might normally smoke. High temperatures can degrade THC, meaning that the hotter you get the herb, the more THC you're burning. You'll still get a lot of it, but not all of it. So, naturally following, the vaporizer will allow more THC to be absorbed in one sesh than smoking might, but the CBD, CBN abd CBA produced from burning the weed may also be helping to get you high.

In fact, it could be the combinatiion of some or all of the chemicals produced in burning weed that produce the exact high you want (since nobody's really done enough testing on this). You may, personally, get higher smoking than I might vaporizing.

But in the end, it's all relative. What's good for me may not be good for you, and there's no sense in arguing about it. I would suggest trying a vaporizer a few times of you never have, but that's all I can say. The choice between smoke and vapor is personal. Either way, I stopped using a lightbulb as soon as I physically could, and I would advise you do the same.
