ok here ya go...i was growing a polyploid, it was growing 3 leaves at a time instead of 2...i was also growing a regular ol bag seed female that was already budding...i put them in my closet at night to keep it dark, and the clothes basket is right next to that...well, my husband is up getting ready for work one morning, half asleep, and puts his dirty clothes in the closet, however, he made my plants his clothes basket, totally breaking the stem of the polyploid beyond compare, knocked over one of my two buds on the topped plant...

the polyploid got cut down and trashed, and the other plant turned out fine, the broken branch healed after i propped it up...but a rare genetic mutation got killed so i was pissed...that could have been some nice dense buds
jadeius Reviewed by jadeius on . Post your worst growing disaster The worst thing I saw was my buddy, who was growing for me at the time, got a spider mite infestation. I never even knew what they were and neither did he. By the time we figured out what they were and how to treat them, they had sucked those plants dry. We had to harvest early and it was a tiny harvet at that. Watch out for spider mites. Oddly enough, the solution consisted of buying a bottle of predator mites, which we released a few days after treating the plants with Neem oil (I think). Rating: 5
