Perhaps a difference in the size of the hits? I find that while you can get high on moderately sized hits, you get exponentially more higher by taking those hits so big that it leaves you reeling like you just took a punch to the face. It's hits like these which give me what I call the "money shot", the hit which forcefully propels you into your high. With me, the money shot doesn't happen every sesh - if I only take moderately sized hits for some reason, the high just creeps up on me.

Pepper on . tolerence of different people hi... i'm just kind of curious as to why my girlfriend, who is a much less experienced smoker than me, takes a lot more weed to get high. i smoked for about half a year, quit, and then started again about about a year later with her this january, which was the first time she did it. alot of times it seems like i get high off of one or two hits (we smoke blueberry mostly now) while it takes her 5-6 hits. i stay high alot longer too, sometimes 6-7 hours.
