You suck dick...Kthx...Lol JP here's a link to the light I bought that made an AWESOME difference in my plants' growth. And the guy who runs it responds to emails real fast and with the cheapest shipping it comes in 3 days. Plus, it fits into a normal socket. $40 shipped. Otherwise you can look for a HPS ballast kit on ebay but then you'll still need to buy the bulb.

Home depot has a "lights of america" security light. It's 65w flourex that comes complete for around 40 bucks it does work.

$50 will get you nowhere my man...nowhere. Here's what I use. White tile for the floor, flat white paint, 5 fluro lights, 400watt HPS Light, 2 wall falls, 50cfm extractor fan, electronic pest deterant, Outdoor light timer, 2 digital thermometers, Mylar, eave vents, and lots of distilled water. That should get you started.

Zero - Did you not read the challange was a 50 dollar light?
Yes that light works fine, it's fluorescent and does work better then standard 40w bulbs. It was one of the first fluoreX bulbs I can remember. It does work, itâ??s not the best (all though it does work great for clones, I use 2 of them for my clones) and HPS will grow better, larger and higher THC content then fluorescent will.
The challenge was a $50.00 light.
