When someone sends you a wedding invitation you are suppose to reply back by the reply date by sending back the RSVP.

I put a freaking stamp on the return envelope and everything, wtf? you lazy bastard! you're lucky your ass got invited to the wedding.

I have been noticing a trend in some of the baby/wedding shower invitations I've been getting. Instead of RSVP, they just add, "Send regrets only to Jane Doe 555-5555." I think that's because not many ppl RSVP anymore. I know you cannot do this for the actual wedding invitations, but, I think ppl are just becoming less likely to RSVP. Which really is inconsiderate when they leave you hanging especially with how expensive wedding receptions are.

To be completely honest, though, once I was guilty of not responding and the bride -to -be called me about 2 weeks before the wedding and asked if I was coming. I felt like a complete ass, afterwards, and have never done it since.

Well I bet you were young and really didn't know any better, i would have probably done the same thing and learned the hard way. But what pisses me off is that I put a stamp on the return envelope, how can anyone thing I would waste postage like that if I didn't expect them to respond. Oh well.......

Mary, are you having a baby?

Nope, I'm done having babies, I have an 8 1/2, 5 1/2, and 2 year old. But, my husband is quite a bit older than me, and all of his nieces seem to be either having babies or getting married this year.
