I have been talking this out on another forum with some guys. Dr. Ron Paul is a Libertarian in republicans clothing.

He is mostly upset that the Bush admin is useing Coercion to get what they want in the UN.

However when he calls for the US to seperate from the UN it is coercion as well.

The UN is the NWO, as long as they all have the same vision of the future, but they are not really viewed this way around the world.

Leaving the UN would then make the UN our opposition by default.

Do we really want to make an enemy out of the UN?

I dont think we do, not only would we then be opposeing the UN but then it would further the world wide view of America as an Empire.

    Peace.

I'm glad someone else is on to Ron Paul. The man votes for the repeal of federal taxes every time he can. While the thought of living tax-free is nice, I think it was a Republican, Oliver Wendell Holmes who said, "Taxes are the price we pay for living in a free society."

Paul can't really be taken seriously.

Well my main beef with this guy is that he labels himself a republican.

Libertarian views are American if you ask me.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Libertarian

But I am not against taxes, they are needed, but we have them going to all the wrong places. And Federal funding of schools public and private needs to stop.

Welfare and other forms of feeding a man a fish instead of teaching him to fish need to be ended.

We should take a stand that if its not made here it doesnt get sold here. Letting the Pharms outsource to Mexico and other third world countries is ridiculuos. There are many more examples, like clothing and foods.

Electorial College is a joke, it needs to be reformed to popular vote. Along with reform, there needs to be federal funding of campaighns, no private donations, a set limit, and the same amount for ALL candidates that run for president.

That puts a stop to all the bullshit, and gives the American people more choices than 2 to vote on. Do this because we all dont fit into 2 nice little catogories. And it levels the playing feild for all candidates.

We need to get out of other countries and worry about our own first.

As for the UN, well, we need to stay in it, but we should not be holding things over others heads to further our current governments illegal actions.

We also left the world court if I am not mistaken, because they are looking into charges that Bush and cohorts illegally invaded a soverieghn country who showed no outward aggression to anyone.

Leaving the UN now would be pitting ourselves against the world, and thats just stupid to think we can take them all on.

    Peace.

i would call him a republican...he could call himself a 'wallyfoompus' for all i care...people shouldn't vote based on the R or D next to the person's name, but on their voting record and merit...

he's what a republican used to be before they mostly became socialists.

we can achieve what the UN does while still spotlighting state sovereignty, the UN has clear aims of disarming people worldwide and doesn't much like land rights of the people...as it is now, the UN charter claims they are the arbiter of rights, and can take them away...as well as mountainous world government regulations...and corrupt WHO, WTO...

i don't trust the people running this country now...i certainly don't trust an unelected bunch of world elites basically creating a worldwide feudal slave society. it's unnecessary, the same things can be accomplished without it...and you don't have to pay for it. how did the world survive before this without a corrupt world fascist/socialist elite ruling it...

fuck the UN, fuck the EU, fuck NAFTA and GATT and CAFTA the IMF and world this and world that...get ready for global taxes.

yeah, george bush is not a christian...and he's not conservative...

he's just a puppet, he's the red paint on the coke can anyway...he's not making the decisions...just like bill clinton and bush, sr...

it's scary the depth it goes in some people who really believe george bush is a man of god...george bush worships a different god...i only fear that christians will become the jews of nazi america...it seems like they're being set up for it.

regardless, martial law will be for all of us mere serfs.

    I'm glad I'm not a Libertarian.

It's always funny to me when people talk about ending federal funding for schools (how else are we gonna pay for 'em?) or ending welfare (without so much as a mention of the larger corporate welfare) or ending the Electoral College (which is good for us liberals; end the E.C. and no one will care about the sparsely populated "red states") or proposing severe protectionist agendas ("Made in U.S.A." or not at all).

    High comedy.

I highly agree that the Electoral College hinders true democracy. Every single person in the state could vote Dem, but it's the Republican Collegiate who's decision really matters. This isnt democracy where majority rules.

I am not sure what Corperate Welfare is but I will find out, if it is what it sounds like it needs to hit the road as well.

I dont know about you but I pay property taxes, and a portion of that is suppossed to go to my schools.

Done right you should be able to pay your school taxes directly to the school district in which you reside. Should they need to go up, that is fine, but at the same time you should pay less Fed tax.

The school board could then be made up of parents instead of proffesional administrators that are more or less put there because they have expereince with getting funding from the FED.

The Parents decide were the money gets spent, it wont get held over their heads like the FED does now.

Thats how it would work, like I said its not that I dont know taxes are needed in todays society, but they spend the money in the wrong places entirely.

The electorial college was fine when you had to tally up votes by hand. But today, its worthless and proven riggable.

And Made in the USA used to mean something. Now what does it mean?

I am not saying we shouldnt have trade with other countries, but yes, if you want to sell your goods in the US, a good portion of those goods should be made here. As it is the mid west has nothing to do, except what?... join the Military? Had the Pharm companies and others been more or less left with no choice but to make it here, those people would have jobs.

I dont trust any of them either man, they are crooked from the word go.

I think what this is is sort of a dragnet of ways to keep Bush in office to be honest.

They do this with the UN, that would then commit the UN to send troops to quell riots in the US should Bush just decide to stay in office.

There is also this push to revise the 22nd amendment, this would allow W to stay in office until voted out...(Ya right)

There is also this thing with BJ's wholesale club. These guys own like 68 gas stations or something like that, and they sell it allot cheaper than the other guys. They are now under heavy fire because someone stole customers credit info from them and then charged up a bunch of shit.

Well notice how Identity theft has become a very big topic lately? Due to this BJ's thing they are going to set up an an identity theft protection office.

This will also be linked with the Office of Homeland Security. It is basically logging everything you buy, everything Walmart does but in the name of Identity theft protection. This was on CNN last night.

The biggest problem I see with this is that in order for them to protect me, they need to know who I am to begin with. Fuck that!

    Peace.
