lighting and grow room setup need advice

my grow room has a three walls with foil reflectors and a pot with organic humulus soil. i am currently waiting for some top 44 seed from someone i also have a light but i am getting a 400 hps fluro tomarrow. i am trying to grow 5 seeds which will be germinated in a hydroponic system which i learned how to make from my hippie pot smoking science teacher i will let the seeds pop then plant them pointy seed part up and white stem down. now that you can picture my grow room can you make any suggestions that i should take into consideration before starting the process and if so please list where to get these products and for how much and if any one else can help me out with some seeds then i would be grateful. also should i add or take anything away will this grow room work? also how much space do i need in one pot (what size pot for 5 seeds) and how far away should i seperate the seeds.

Hmm... First off never use foil, second never use humus, third off there's no such thing as a 400 watt HPS fluro, fourth off you plant the seeds in seperate containers not the same container to avoid any one plant problem affecting the rest. Sorry bro but you need to go read up before you start up. www.growchronic.com will give you the basics. It's not as easy as you think. You must caculate and control heat, provide fresh air circulation, simulate wind conditions with a fan. All in all your grow space must be as close a match as the outside world. Like I said go read up.

I understand this is your first grow dude, I just don't want to see it go bad for you. We all want you to grow good quality buds. A good book goes a long way to helping your first grow be a success.
