yellow flowers?

I have been growing some plants outdoors for a while now, they are about a little more than a foot tall. i cant remember when i planted them lol.
Im pretty sure some of them are males but im not to sure. Some of them are producing yellow flowers . I dont know what they are and why they are there and when are they gonna start producing bud?

no, the males will release their pollen regardless of females.

if you see little white hairs on the plant it's a female.
