    A simple question..

Well people say that you can't die from smoking weed.

Everybody knows that when you're smoking weed, your heart rate increases by 20-40 hearbeats, and sometimes double your normal.

Isn't there a chance that you can get a heart attack and die?, cause thats what was going through my mind when I was tripping out once.

    thats my 2 cents.....

Yea,i suppose it could make you have a heart attack if you have a weak heart. But it wouldn't be directly linked with marijuana. As having sex and running fast could also make your heartbeat faster and then in turn have a heart attack. And as of right now, running and sex are still legal.

yeah... I think pot increases your heartrate as much as a cardio workout would, if not less. Asking that question here will in no way get you unbias answers though. Ask a doctor!! hahah

    A simple question..

Medical studies show that pot smokers experience an increase in the rate of heart attacks by a factor of five. Yes, there is absolutely the chance of dying as an indirect result of smoking weed.

I guess if you were to abuse weed, then maybe you will find yourself in that situation.

Its completely possible. The rise in heart rate is NOTHING like a cardio workout. That kind of strain comes from a bump of speed or coke. The rise in heart rate from cannabis is considerable to the rise in heart rate when you experience a scary movie, just without the adrenaline. Consider: Marijuana is so safe that it's used to treat AIDS and Cancer patients, so how can it have that extreme effect on your heart?

There are probably no studies, but I'd guess that other ways of consuming it would be safer - such as eating (cooked into brownies, butter, etc.), or by using a vaporizer.
I get worse heart symptoms (palpitations) from caffeine, and sugar, than 420 smoking (jt. or pipe). 420 seems to make my blood pressure lower.

I'm going to get a vapor device this week.

While cannabis increases ur heart rate, it also reduces blood pressure at da same time, so its a pretty good trade off.
