She went around telling people, "I had to give my roommate money, so now I am worried about rent"
She didn't have to "give" me money, she owed me money, and still does owe me something like 1100. Telling other people that she had to give me money makes me sound like a money grubbing asshat she is paying off for no reason. NOT PLEASED!
She gave me $50 to replace a $300 serta desk chair she broke.
I payed most of our phone/internet bill and left her to pay 50 something on it. My e-mail got cut off yesterda, and when I asked her to call, they had cut off my net access because that 50 something had not been paid. She has no car or license, no debit card cuz she fucked up her bank account so she can't just call and pay by phone so I have to drag my tired ass out in the rain to take care of this.

After these things happen I tell her that an X-Box would be a suitable replacement for the laptop I lent her that was stolen while in her possession.(6 months ago) I had a decent laptop, when it was stolen my same make and model where going for 500-600 on eBay so it isn't unreasonable.
Right after I mention this she calls up her x-boyfriend to buy back the used x-box that he got her for christmas. (he kept it in the breakup, nice right?) I am not jazzed about receiving a used box though I shut up thinking that at least I will have "something" to make up for my laptop.
The next day she negotiates a deal to get a new x-box with two games and is running all around my room happy that she gets a new x-box. This quickly gets sorted out, and grudgingly she offers me the new one. very grudgingly.
When the box arrives hours later she protests when I pick it up and take it into my room, keeps calling it "ours" opens it up herself, hooks it up in the living room herself, begins playing it herself, and is still up doing so at 4am when I went to bed. I have not even touched it.
Instead of feeling grateful and friendly to her for paying me back, I feel resentful and cheated. I am poor, the last console I owned was an old school sega that I bought for myself back in '91. I've never played an x-box, and I don't feel like I own one now. I don't even want to play it now.
It's like giving someone a present...and then using it for them, baking someone a cake, then eating all the icing off it.
I feel like she should have asked to play it, asked me if I wanted to take it on it's virgin run, should not have ever referred to it as "ours", and should have given it to me herself with a little thanks, sorry I got your laptop stolen type thing.
I'm so tired of her shit.
am I blowing this out of proportion?
