Fuck that.. that's all I've got to say. I don't think I'll be touching any mind-altering substances for a long time, probably ever again. I guess I had a bad trip, but it was very life changing and crazy to experience. My last name is Caruso and all my brothers and friends call me by it. Pronounced Kuh-roo-so. Fuck DXM, thats some weird shit.

Whoa, wtf. Total reversal of opinion on your trip. When you were tripping you seemed love it. The post where you were almost sober you said "I enjoyed greatly my trip on 708 mg of DXM." then the very next post ... " I had the most intense, scariest, time of my life today while tripping on 708 mg... I wish that no person ever has to experience it." Why such a change of opinions? Was it just coming down sucked really bad but the trip itself was good? Did you freak out at some point that made you have issues? Can we still expect the "story" post?

Haha, yea it was intense. I did enjoy it for the most part, but parts of it were scary and I thought I was permafried for a portion of the trip. I kept saying "my life is changed forever now", "I will never know what its like to be normal again", a bunch of crazy shit like that. I experienced years of my life that hadn't happened in a time frame of about 45 minutes. Almost like a lucid dream of sorts. My friends also thought it would be fun to fuck with my head while I was peaking. So they would talk about gorillas coming, they all stood up and stared me down at one point which was terrifying. But at the same time it was an amazing feeling that I've never felt before and I did enjoy. It was like life was going by as a flipbook. Very crazy. Anyways, I'm writing out a full report of all I felt, its already almost a page long and I'm only at the part where I'm just starting to feel the effects of the first dose. So it should be a good read.

Well i plan on trying DXM one day Caruso. I am a fairly large guy and i will most likely have a couple friends come over to watch me. I have a reall dark side and my anger can just fly off the handle. Did you find yourself out of control at any point Caruso? Good experience from the sounds of your posts. Glad to see you are still kicking and walked away with a good experience.

I didn't feel out of control at any point but I did feel "guided". At one point right before I peaked I was standing up, and I felt a golden, glowing cord pulling me down. I immediately knew I had to sit down or I was going to fall down. I managed to make it over to the rosebud chair that I mentioned above, practically falling into it. At this point I think I did lose control of my emotions because I became very terrified of everything around me. I also have a very bad temper if something sets me off, but I didn't get mad for no reason or anything like that.

In my experiences with DXM I've never had anger take me away. Dex can "get inside your head" a bit but usually the only negative emotion that it would bring on is fear. If that happens be sure to have read the faq and the guides on erowid.org first to know how to deal with it.

i took a bottle of robitussin max strength cough last night for my first time also. i smoked some weed and watched tv, pretty good time. i had double vision for alot of the time anyone ever had this. i read about people who like listening to music but i listened to some music and didnt really get into it. all and all it was fun but i dont plan on doing it again.
