I've heard good things about this IQ test, like its supposed to be one of the better free online tests, however upon completing it i got a waaaay better score than the last one i had at MCO when i was 14. (they had to do some tests for reasons im not gonna get into here.) This latest test seemed alot like the one i remember from MCO, except its not timed, and its conducted online rather than in person with a fine female dr. Im wondering if my really bad ADD, plus being timed and sorta nervous around the the hot doc could have had such a profound effect on my score from the first test. (which was average, if not slightly below average). Another thing i think could have affected my score was the fact that some of the questions presupposed that i had some prior education in math and a few other subjects, which i dont think has anything to do with intelligence, cus i see intelligence as more of a potential to learn, rather than an assesment of what you had learned previously. At the time I had obviously had some schooling, but i hardly payed attention in class, so i didn't pick up many of the subjects (usually pretty basic things) i should have untill i made an effort to do so later in life. Any way, without knowing some pretty damn basic math, i was unable to complete some of the questions back then, and that adversely affected my score. Its funny though because, even though i was pretty much math naive, (and i still am to a large degree) i still managed to figure out how to do some of the math without knowing what the type of math it was even called, or the process that would complete it, so I made up my own processes as i went along, however this took way too long and since i was timed, i often didn't get to finish. Ok while im a little more knowledgeable about math today (the day i took my latest IQ test), I still dont know how to do some of the math without making up my own process, but this didn't matter because i had all the time in the world (pretty much) to figure it out. I have no idea how long it took to complete the test, but according to the website, with this test it doesn't matter how long i take. Heres the kicker, while i went into this test with pretty low expectations based on my previous experience with a similar test. I was shocked to find my score neared the upper limits. They had previously established the average as 100 by testing 1 million people, And on that test the best IQ anyone could get was 144. I got 133.



Now i dont brag often, (partly cus ive never have much to brag about) but this gave me a surge of pride and i felt i ought to confirm its effectiveness before i get too swollen-headed.

So please, if your at all interested and you have the spare time, give this test a try, especially if you've already taken an IQ test before, i'd really like to see how close this test gets to your old score.

According to Tickle's Classic IQ Test:

- A score between 70 and 84 places you below the population average
- A score between 85 and 99 puts you slightly below the population average, but is in the normal range
- A score of 100 represents the population average
- A score between 101 and 115 puts you above the population average, but is in the normal range
- A score between 116 and 130 means that your IQ might be significantly above the population average
- Scores of 130 and above puts you significantly above the population average

144 is the highest possible score.

Yes! The Classic IQ Test is scientifically valid.

Tickle's staff psychologists developed our IQ test using proven, high-quality IQ test questions such as those in the Mensa Workout tests and the Shipley Institute of Living Scale (SILS). Tickle performed a large-scale study of people who had taken both the Tickle IQ test and the established SILS, calibrating the Tickle IQ test using scores calculated by the SILS. That ensured a high association between the two tests and, because of that, the validity of our IQ scores. In fact, the Tickle IQ test is highly reliable -- the Chronbach's alpha is .81. In other words, the questions on Tickle's IQ test are internally consistent and they all measure intelligence accurately.

After 1 million people took the Tickle IQ test, we ran what is called a "factor analysis" on the answers of all test takers. This statistical analysis identified the similarity between groups of questions in our test. The analysis demonstrated that our IQ test accurately measured four underlying dimensions of intelligence: mathematical, visual-spatial, linguistic and logical. 133 is impressive the highest I scored was at 136 but I'm also 28 years old. If your below 80 your classified as a mongoloid. lawl

It's nothing to really brag about I don't think. Some people just are not given the chance or decline the chance to nourish their minds. Some people are more into brain size others dick size so you know whatever floats your boat.

Yeah i agree, all IQ tests are flawed in one way or another and they really arn't that accurate seein' as how there are multiple forms of intelligence and some of those questions have little to do with intelligence anyway.

lol, I just thought i sounded like i was braggin, thats why i said that. I dont want try and seem like im better than anyone, cus im not, i have a variety of problems of my own. I did however have a short surge of pride, which is good for me because i tend to have a deflated ego.
