Hello people, just popped in to this forum to say hi.....it's been a long time since the last time i posted here....anyway what's up?everyone good?i sure hope so as i may be needing your expertise, i am refering to the people who have read my posts and provided help answering my questions.....my first grow was a success considering that overall yield was well over a pound (600 grams to be more precise) and that was achieved with no expensive equipment.....the result my friends is rather dissappointing for me...why? because my bud was so good that the people who tried it loved it....not only because of the high/smell/taste but also because every gram sold made me 11 times happier...as a result all i have left is a mere 30 grams of pure bud....that's right....only an ounce more or less...it's ok....fuck! Sometimes i think that i'd rather have my pocket full of weed than full of money....that's why i am coming back for more....only this time i have the right equipment and some knowledge gained from first grow....i did some research over the internet and from what i saw i realised that the answer to bigger yields is hydroponics.....more or less i am ready for the second grow.....got myself an NFT system....size 4ftx3,5ft (up to 24 flowering plants of medium size).....along with that i bought digital equipment for measuring pH&EC+ all nutrients needed start to finish...this time i will be using rockwool cubes, instead of soil...for lighting i ve got two 400watt hps lights...one grolux and one shp-ts.....yeap....as for strains i have decided to go with standard seeds this time....picked 4 strains....two indicas (papaya+crystal by Nirvana) and two sativas (Super Haze by DP+White Lady by Nirvana)....oh, they have send me and some free seeds as well....a strain called Babilonia (hybrid)...got 45 seeds in total....i hope that i will get 24 ladies out of them.....anyway, i talked too much again.....don't really know when to start but i am thinking that's going to be great this time.....somewhere i've read that with hydro you can get up to 2 grams/watt used....is that real?if so , i could add some more light, like up to 600watt+the 800watt that i already have=1400 watt....
in hydro can you leave a plant in veg for 2 months? if the plant grows too much how can you support it so as it does not fall due to the weight of the branches?
