Well, at least mine does. I just turned 20 recently and I have no idea what I want to do in my life. I'm studying linguistics at school but I don't have a clue what I'm going to do with that. Speaking of school, I took 5 classes this semester, had to drop one because it was too much work and failed another somehow. I e-mailed the professor because I don't know why I failed (since I did turn in the very vaguely defined final essay assignment that accounted for the vast majority of our grade) but he won't respond.

In all my 20 years on this planet, I have never kissed a girl. I'm so eager to lose this goddamn virginity I don't know what to do. I can't talk to girls and I don't know where to find them, not that I would want one of the skanks from this town I'm spending the summer in anyways. And to compound the sexual frustration, SOMEBODY in my family is ALWAYS in this house so I can hardly even jack off anymore.

I'm getting my wisdom teeth out soon. The dentist says there's not enough room in my mouth for them so they have to be yanked out of my skull. Plus, apparently 1 in 300 people who go through with this operation suffer permanent numbness of the lips and tongue. I don't like those odds. And the rest of my teeth are in really crappy condition. The dentist says I have the teeth of a 60-year-old and it's costing my parents tens of thousands of dollars to repair them. And I get to spend tons of happy hours on the dentist's chair as I savor the guilt from not brushing my teeth more often and never flossing and drinking lots of soda to wear away the enamel.

And if that wasn't enough, my family is looking after my sister's cats as she is moving to North Carolina. I was unaware that they weren't supposed to go outside and I let one out this afternoon. Now he is missing and it's all my fault.

Well, I just needed to get that out. I hope things take a turn for the better, but somehow Murphy's Law seems to always get in my way.
