    The War in Iraq Costs

i cant speak for anyone else who was injured, but i havent had to pay a dime of my medical bills...and trust me theyre through the roof i bet. Granted i still have all my limbs (thank god) but the cost of physical therapy, medicine, and not to mention the 2 weeks i was in ICU in a coma, oh and now im fighting a pain killer addiction (yay). But yeah cat, i have heard of some soldiers coming back getting the shaft, and it makes me sick. After paying the price like many of us did, i think we deserve some help getting on with our lives.

As for the under the cover of darkness thing...im not too sure about that...i made it home and it was daylight but that was after being at Ram AFB in germany. Maybe it has something to do with the time diff? Im not sure tho.

Injured soldiers evacuated to the U.S. never arrive in the light of day -- and the Pentagon has yet to offer a satisfactory explanation why.

well you also know that they dont want us seeing the wounded, probably because it would be a morale problem. That may be another another good reason. The only problem with that is that this war is fo tv friendly that we already have seen most of the wounded soldiers, and iraqies.
