the sad thing is dogs are so tough.... they hide their pain and suffering so well.
when a dog actually gets around to showing pain and discomfort,he is probably really really hurting .....you are doing the right thing
But I know even though you know it is the right thing , the guilt always haunts you.... it really sucks.. just try to remember all the good times you have had with him and know love means letting go...
