I just found out we are getting my dog put down. He is 14 years old and I've had him even since I was 3, so I don't remember much about life without him. We are getting him put down on Saturday. It really sucks having to look at him knowing he has a finite amount of time to live. This is really getting me down but he is in a lot of pain and I know its for the best. Oh well, happy smoking.

Same happened to my dog a couple months ago; she had a giant tumor on her head that was very painful. She was only 11

I miss my old cat. But I got another cat, who looks almost identical to her. Totally different personality though. It's amazing how we grow attached to pets, they truly are like family. I'd say, get another dog, when you're ready, but never forget the first one; I doubt that you will.

I had a monkey once, but he ran away with my best girl. God, how I miss that monkey.
