Do I really have to explain to people why threads on "how to steal stuff" are not ok?

Stealing stuff, whether or not it's from your folks, isn't cool. Then again, I think most people on this board would think that way and would most likely say so. So, the thread could have done some good if enough folks persuaded him not to do it. The same goes with threads about narcotics. So, I' don't really agree with the closing of these.

Then again maybe I'm just naive and believe too much in the good nature and common sense of most people.

Most people don't appreciate that out of control posts hurt the site and the message board users. The mods play an important role, and I'm OK with locking threads/ deleting posts. Most people just don't know the guidelines, and since we have lots of freedom, and assume that anything goes. I vote to give the mods a raise !!!

I do have a Q .... Do the mods read every post ??? (Thanks for not deleting the naked Cafe Member Pics in the Cafe Lounge).

No, we can't possibly read every thread. But we try to catch things as we spot them. It would be helpful if members would email a staff member whenever they see a questionable thread or post. I'm going to see if we can get the Report Post button to work, finally.

Well, the first two replies were both advice on how to do it, not telling him not to. It wasn't looking too good for doing the right thing, so I closed it.

If its a thread thats put out as a question asking about experiances and advice on a drug or for guidence to wether they should take it or not it should be allowed.

If it stated about stealing then it should deleted, same if its telling you how to take heroin or something in my opinion.

I did not read the threads but look at it from the site/communitys/owners point of view, if the cops are looking on this site and want to shut it down, all it needs is posts on taking hard drugs and stealing and such then it could well be taken down

well, i don't really have a problem with beeblebrox dude either, nor am trying to start shit, nor am i trying to say he's ABUSING his power but it does seem (could just be the layed back style that i've seen around here for so long) that he is over doing it a bit...i mean yea the posts that have beeen deleted/closed deserved it and all and should be according to the rules but 4 or 5 posts closed/deleted in just a couple of days after none whatsoever for so long does seem pushing it a bit....but hey i ain't got no problem with it, or him lol. so i could see where mellow mood is comin from.
