Late 70s early 80s punk was the best. There are very few bands that still play that I would listen to.

A7X's first two CDs, a nice blend of metal and decent vocals, though really shitty lyrics.

Also most classical and jazz, and some reggae, ska without brass, occasionally some real hip hop, but not often(and by "real" I mean real, as in not that 16 year old kid on MTV signed to Warner Bros. records).

I recenetly discovered patton. He is definately the most twisted brilliant minds I've heard of. He fills the less sane part of my psyche in the same way Frank Zappa does, but in a much darker way.
