schizophrenia&marijuana?
if you have a family history, any psychotropic substance will speed the onset of and increase the severity of schizophrenia. basically every study on the subject, in respectable medical/psychology journals and puiblications, comes to that conclusion. it doesnt matter what other people can do and be fine with, if youre already at risk and dont want to deal with the illness, its better to not smoke.
a lot of the findings are rather interesting, too. the cannabinoidal receptors in the brain and spinal column are more active in schizophrenics at all times than in those not afflicted.
thats the result of poring over medical texts at UofM every night for about a month, not just from reading some pro or anti-pot website's faq page.
