I don't know how much funding the feds are giving to the schools at this time, but the NEA is the org that lobbies for more money every year, and it's full of liberal, socialist and even communist, teachers and educators.
I do know, that each school(public),gits a certain amount of fed dollars for every child that is marked down as attending school, each day, which is why I've gotten several letters from the schools, asking that my child please be sure to attend school regularily,so that they qualify for their federal funding.
Nothing panics a liberal teacher or school district quicker, than the thought of losing students and therefore, federal dollars..which is why it's best for Christian parents and other parents of Faith,to home=school their children or put them into a private religious school..they won't have to worry that their children are being propagandized into non-thinking secularists.

Gary Bauer (American Values) "We are engaged in a social, political, and cultural war. There's a lot of talk in America about pluralism. But the bottom line is somebody's values will prevail. And the winner gets the right to teach our children what to believe." This quote brings home the point I have been makeing for some time now. Rating: 5
