It was a generalization ... Women compete fiercely with each other. Yes, over men, and as Misstree has now told us, over who's got the best wedding dress ... lots of things. There can be alot of jealousy and some nasty behavior.

The funny thing is in alot of cases, if some woman sleeps with your man, you go after the woman, and your man gets off easy.

Again, a generalization and a slight exaggeration. MissTree, you are in a very tough business.

Ok, i'm talking about supposed brides to be that are so mean. I am talking about another message board where these girls treat nice innocent girls like shit. They will make fun of their wedding dresses, and wedding ideas. I know to you guys this is probably so stupid but what the fuck is up with a person that would be so mean as to make fun of poor girls, it's like junior high school all over again.

The last episode of the last season of the golden girls featured leslie nielson (from the naked gun movies). Blanche set his character and Dorothy up on a blind date, knowing they wouldn't hit it off, just to free herself up for her own date. So to get her back, they act like they have decided to get married in three days. Then ironically they actually fall in love during that short time, and decide to get married for real. They move to Atlanta, and the rest of the gang (sophia, rose, and blanche) stay together in the house.

I've known of girls who've attacked other girls for being pretty, or if their boyfriend looks at a pretty girl, she'll go and attack the girl. I know men fight for silly reasons such as finding out who's the toughest etc, but girls fight for silly reasons too. I've seen some appalling behaviour from girls, they can be really vicious. Girls are supposed to be nice! lol

Men fight for MANY of the same reasons as women (not just macho contests) the main difference is that men have the physical ability (women as well, to a point but we KNOW it doesn't match most men's) where women have to rely on cunning, wit, and yes, visciousness. You would be surprised how many fights didn't happen because one of them was viscious enough to scare the other off. It is a battle tatic lol.
There are SO many reasons and possible explanations about why some women are mean and viscious. You have the influence of being a woman in a mans world, peer pressure, That time of the month, chemical embalances, general crazy lol (me) and I could go on and on.....
I have seen some pretty mean girls (me for one)
I don't think I have ever known girls that attack each other because of looks, unless the goodlooking one is being a bitch just because she is good looking, now that I have seen my whole life. Think I pushed one down the stairs once....can't remember if it was me that did that or someone else on the staircase *grin* I KNOW it was me flicking pieces of dead frog in her hair in biology class...the guys put me up to it....thats my story =D
FYI this particular gal was very much like the girls you are angry at as far as being cruel. I can be mean but rarely cruel, as in making fun of others without money, looks, or for any other lacking feature about them. I say this but you bet that if they come after me with that type of material they would get it back 10 fold lol, I don't consider that cruel, just getting even =)

I don't really think this comes down to Men or Women, it is just human nature I think. If women or girls really are meaner than men or boys then it would be, in my opinion, because girls are not raised to be a warrior, but in the world we are constantly faced with battles ranging from physical to emotional and everywhere inbetween. Being mean and viscious in a way is our protection and weapon in battles.
I feel for you Misstree. Vent Vent Vent =) It doesn't change much but it might make you feel better and if all else fails just fire one up, sit back and relax and reflect on what is left good in this world. Weeed for one =)
