my little seeds are about to bust.....how long from the time that I put them in dirt do I have to get them in the lights...im assuming they wont die but I want to make sure. Also, my room is About 18 square feet, not 7 like I said on a previous post. Will 400 watts of flo be enough until flowering season? Im new at this, any help would be great.

put the lights on once you plant.
Put the seed 2 inch into the dirt, put a fan on them as soon as you see them come up.
For new plants, keep the 400w 3 feet away an as they get older you can move the light closer

Nuther Opinion...
the second they bust out of the soil and you see the 'hook' form, get them under your flo's ASAP. Place them about 2 - 3 inches from the tops of the seedlings.
Make sure you have a fan blowing full time right down the middle between the lights and the seedling tops AT ALL TIMES.
400W of flo's will cover a small area. I dont think that 18 sq. ft. is nearly small enuff for adequate coverage.
Depends on how many plants you intend to grow.
Initially it will be plently...but as they grow, so will the light demands.Any posts made by me are purely fictional in nature and by no means is anything I say to be taken seriously.
