    heat is bad !

i decided to move to the garage so i went n picked up a big cest style freezer today ,turned it up on its side
hung 3 cfl's about 12 inches above plant n 2 4 foot tubes diagnly on each side for side light added a fan to blow over the top of the plant, put a 3 inch hole in top for exhuast and 3 inch hole at bottom for intake, layed a small fan i had on top of ehaust hole sucking out, thought everything would be ok .wrong! got home from work tonight opend the door only to see one cooked plant :|she'll make it but damn its sad to see that shit it got real hot today around 85 out,n i checked the temp in the freezer at 3 pm 90 f i thought well thats lil high but itll be evening soon so the temp should go down, was still 90 when i got home at 11 pm im guesing the lil fan i used for ehuast is where i fucked up,i didnt think the cfls would make things so warm in there
anyone got any ideas to help cool that shit down without puttin a a/c in the garage?
    thanks

Sorry fucker I was busy gettin insulted with BobBong.

Yea I cooked a bitch just like that.

So you outside digging trenchs, eh?

The cool air will be a majorhelp.

But, what about later on when you wanna flower with HPS?

Sounds like it would work, but, make sure you have enuff air movement....that cool air should come in the bottom of your freezer/closet/chest/grow room and the hot air pulled out from the top.

What kind of exhaust are you running? a regular fan or an inline duct fan?

Also, i would go 2 to 1 on the intake vs. the exhaust unless your blower out fan has high static pressure.

    FUCKER

yeah lucky for me its only 6 feet from the garage to the basment.

picked up a 100 cfm inline fan today for the 36 cf of space, not sure if im gonna
put one on the intake yet,i think i will monitor the temp without a plant in it this time
:| need to find a high/low thermometer that records your highest temp for the day

far as flowering im going with 3 mabye more 42w 2700k t2 technolgy (has almost no balllest heat) same ones Da1KrayzieThug is using i think and 2 4 foot 2700k tubes that put off a more redish light compared to the yellow looking cfls(yellow n red make orange)cuz you need the orange side of the spectrum too dont u?i know everyone says you wont get results without a hps,but i always been one that has to see things for myself lol (ill post some pics if i do ok)

once i move somewhere i can do it right then its gonna be balls to the wall hps

well im off to smoke some dried shriveled up leaves, your right about them being smooth smoke,i got fairly high off a 1/2 joint this morning thanks for checkin in
    peace

oh btw hows slut doin outside, get a fence up n shit?
