Why Pot Is Illegal

Here is why i believe pot is illegal. There are many other drugs and the government believes that pot leads to these harder drugs. I wish the only "drug" that is available was pot becuase then the government wouldn't call pot a "gateway drug". Also, it is the fact that poeple grow pot, so therefore the government would have a hard time making taxes off of sold pot because some guy grew it in his basement. I do not believe pot will be legal in every US state in my life time at all. Here is my advice to help legalize pot, DONT do any other drugs or else you will become one more reason as to why pot should be illegal (because it is a "gateway drug")

i agree.
i've thought well stoners often DO other drugs, and then say they don'ttttt
but if people just smoked weed, and that's it...
i think marijuana legalization would have a better chance!

pot is illegal because the government won't admit that they've been lying to us since the 30's.

also, if they legalized the herb, the cotton industry would go up in smoke. so would the other industries that hemp could replace.

Damn smokey, I couldn't agree with u more about them not being able to tax it and what not, but I do think before I die it will be legalized, but hey, what do I know im just another stoner wishing for legalization!!
