    Problem with all my plants?

hi, ive recently started growing and over the last few weeks have been gathering the tools needed to do so. im finding this harder than i first thought it might be. the system im using to grow is:

    1 x 400 watt hps
    3x3x7ft room
    nft res system
    temp 70-85f
    humidity 40-65
    ph 5.4-5.9

ok, ive been soaking my seeds in nitrozyme 5ml/per litre along with my rockwool cubes also in nitrozyme and formulex. ph is adjusted for soak of cubes. once the seeds have sprouted i start feeding them water with 1.5ml of cal-mag per litre. after about 5 days they begin to look unhealthy and have lost there shine. I was under the impression that the little guys shud have enough food for at least 2 weeks. i have seperated 2 of the plants and have foliar fed 1 with calcium and nitrogen which turnt the leaves grenner but didnt affect the dullness of the leaves. with the other plant i sprayed with formulex and that did seem to have a slight improvement. the symptons are as i said a dullness, also some of the tips start to curl down and darken in colour (this seems to happen with the jock horror more than the k2 and snow white). once i manage to get the plants into the nft all is fine, altho, the leaves tips do curl up, and thats all the way along the leaf and not just the very tip. please, does anybody have a idea what could be causing this, its driving me mad. am i doing something wrong. i have checked all the faqs but they all point to plants when there fully grown and not towards young plants. shud i be giving them more than just cal mag. i even tryed cutting that out but they realy took a turn for the worst. so please if you have any ideas post em, and thanks for looking

mate all i can say is i am not shore of what all the stuff u r useing is.Sounds like a lot of work.if anything the ph could be a little low, keep it simple.i dont soak my seeds.I let them sprout and those fist two funny looking leaves they contain all the food they need for at least two weeks.I give them half strength fertilizer (grow type) after 1 week of sprouting then they should b ok to go to full stregth after 3 to 4 weeks.I never have any problems.also make shore u r not over watering or over feeding, could b a simple as a nutrient deficency.not shore if i have helped.happy growing........

    Problem with all my plants?

maybe u could try useing a more complete fertilizer that has everythig in it.useing indervidual fertilizers eg mixing the opropriet amounts can be hard if u use to much phosherous this can kill usualy phospherus is present in small amounts.u should look for a fertilizer that has a good N.P.K ratio with all the micro nutrients.I use a good two part grow fert when in veg stage and a two part flower fert for buding ,i suplement the flower fert every couple of weeks with with extra phospherus but more importantly potasium . happy growing........

u have probly seen phosphorus referd to in germination becouse it premotes root growth.remember nitrogen for growth, phophorus for root growth and potasium for flowering plus all the other macro and micro nutrients.
