This foreign policy is still in place today. The Israelis were about to fuck it all up and attack Saddam and Iraq. Remeber the Israelis already had taken out a nuclear reactor Saddam was trying to build. When the infamous idiot (Bush; as if you didn't know) gave the world wide command to attack terroists wherever they hide Israel figured he gave the go ahead. Hang on Israel let us the U.S. military take care of this for you. We wouldn't want you to waste the military assests we have given you on our taxpayers nickel. The rest you know WMD's, human rights abuses, etc., etc., etc., WAR. And if you believe everything the government and news media says, then I have some prime acreage for sale in the florida everglades. Anyone interested?

Actually what this guy is saying holds water we do have a plan to control the mid-east that was set up long before the Iraq war....and ten years after the attack on Osirak, then-Defense Secretary Cheney reportedly gave Israeli Maj. Gen. David Ivri, then the commander of the Israeli Air Force, a satellite photo of the Iraqi nuclear reactor destroyed by US-built Israeli aircraft. On the photo Cheney penned, "Thanks for the outstanding job on the Iraqi nuclear program in 1981."
Cheney, also expressed deep concern over Iran's "fairly robust new nuclear program," Iran has astated policy that their objective is the destruction of Israel."
Cheney says he is afraid that the Israelis might well decide to act first, and let the rest of the world worry about cleaning up the diplomatic mess afterwards."
The US would love that to happen, we are suppose to think he is worried about it when we give Isreal so much money...more money than we give anyone else...
Did you know...Israel is the single largest recipient of U.S. foreign aid nearly one-third of the total direct bi-lateral aid.
Israel receives more than all of Latin America, the Caribbean, and Africa combined. Israel is, one of the richest countries in the world, a country of around 6 million people, and it receives more aid than two entire continents including some of the poorest regions in the world!!!

The category of direct bi-lateral aid alone is staggering. The House of Representatives has appropriated $2.04 billion in military aid to Israel for next year (up from $1.98 billion this year) in addition to $840 million in economic support funds. The total amount of US aid of this sort has been constant, at around $3 billion, for many years....

It is something to think about..
