all you do is take a plate or something, scrap a negligible amount off the side of the pill, drop on the testing solution and follow the instructions. Testing kits do not require entire pills, if you wanted to send it away for a more complicated gc/ms to find out *exactly* what was in it you would have to send the pill with a $30 copay.

wouldn't it defeat the purpose if you had to use the whole pill? i mean becasue even if you did buy two at the same time, that looked the same, from the same person it doesn't mean it would have the exact same things or even any of the same things....and why would you want to send it in for that same reason? cuz i don't think they send back your ex.....and is there some protection against them just turning over your name to the govt???

Individuals and some harm reduction organizations tend to stress that brands/logos don't matter and pills with the same logo could still either be real or fake. While it is true that other manufacturers can make counterfeit ecstasy look the same as a well known good brand (Ex. White Sunflowers) there still may be ways to tell the pills apart. Minor details are important including the exact shape and size of the pills, splits, colours, speckled pills ect.
Pillreports.com is good for getting results of similar pills from your relative area and hearing comments from more users.
Im not saying that a pill testing kit isn't a good idea or that the risk of getting a fake of a good pills is slim, but pay attention to minor detail descriptions of the pills if you don't have access to a pill testing kit.

If you're getting multiple pills of the same imprint from the same source I would have to say that the chance of them all containing the same active ingredients in the same dosages is high.
