    Cannabis butter.

    I smoked for years but wanted to stop the smoking part, but continue getting stoned. So I bought a few vaporisers and didn't get the same buzz so always eventually went back to smoking. Then in March 2003 I made cannabis butter for the first time, and WOW. A better buzz than smoking and a lot less needed. ( I haven't smoked since and I feel much healthier. )

    I'm sure there are other people on this board who eat it too, and I was wanting to exchange ideas on the best methods of eating the butter and butter preparation. Anyone wanting to know more about eating vs. smoking and vaporising can ask questions here too.

    I'm particularly interested in the best ways of eating the stuff. So anyone out there with anything to share, please reply.

    Try making the cannabutter and then cooking some vegetables in it. Now That's healty! Or you can soak the bud in oil, mix it with vinegar, and you have a nice pot salad dressing. Basically anything that has oil/butter, you can substitute in cannabutter. It's great fun.

    i put my cannibis butter in a jam sandwhich it was potent shit
    eatings the way forward once i get my own place but for now smoking is still the main way

    yea man butter is pretty fucking sweet, a lil expensive, more time consuming but worth the effort, i made some 2 weeks ago, found a nice tutorial from overgrow.com i think it was hashmans, but its awesome, cook the weed in water and butter in crock pot for 6 hours, first 3 on high, last 3 on low then strain and refridgerate, made a potent batch of cookies, and been eating it with cream cheese and making garlic bread with it, mhhhhh nice buzz.

    Does it stink up the whole house? I still live at home with my parents and straight edge sister, and really wanted to make something with cannabutter, but heard that it stinks up the whole place, which I want to avoid. Are the rumors true?

    you will smell it some, just do it when you know they'll be gone for a while, the smell will disappear relatively fast

    OMG! Widdi! I have the best recipe ever that uses cannabis butter!

    Make this and you will be in munchy heaven! The nuts give you that extra energy that really compliments the high....If anyone makes this please post and tell me what you think. I don't care for the smoke either so this is my favorite and it keeps for a long time too!

    Ingredients: 3 eggs
    1 cup dark brown sugar
    1 cup dark corn syrup
    pinch of salt
    2 tbs. canni butter
    1 tea vanilla
    3 tbs bourbon (don't skimp use a good one)
    1 1/3 cups pecans
    Pilsbury pie crist

    Preheat oven to 350...
    Beat the eggs, add the sugar then the corn syrup. stir well
    Add the vanilla, and bourbon stir again
    add the pinch of salt...don't omit the salt because it raises the temp of the mixture
    add melted canna butter stir well
    and last add the pecans stir gently Pour into unbaked pie shell
    Don't worry about it only being half full it will rise
    cover the edges of the pie crust with strips of foil to prevent them from browning too much.
    Bake for 25 minutes with the sides of the crust covered then remove the foil and bake another 25 minutes.
    Let cool and eat!

    I just made one...now I have to go get me a slice...
    oh it keeps well and mails well... you can send it for the holidays!
