Can you OD on weed?

I have smoked a lot in my time but there were times when I would smoke some real strong shit and my heart would start palpitating and I would get this paranoid feeling like I smoked too much.


Is it possible to OD on weed? What's the worst that could happen?


btw, I stopped smoking hash because the feeling I would get from that were way worse.

No, you can't OD on weed. You can get a panic attack or something, but there is no possible OD level.

But can a panic attack result in other serious heart related issues?

We have never heard of anyone OD'ing on dope. Panic attacks can't result in any heart issues and i doubt that dope can cause a panic attack alone. But if your getting para enough to bring on an attack then we think you should take a break from the weed man!
But obviously you can get all the typical illnessess from smoking too much.

if you can smoke about 5 pounds in a day,

weed is safe,some do have anxiety when they get a buzz becuase they dont know whats going on
it will pass,and its not harmfull(maybe to a phsyco it may be)

But i'm not even talking about smoking too much. I have actually smoked a couple tokes from a really good blunt or joint and still felt this way. This also happens to me when I haven't smoked in a while.

I'm just trying to see what everyone's elses point of view is, and as of now I don't smoke, sadly i'm probably the only member here that hasnt smoke in almost a year.

Well, there IS a theoretical LD50; an amount which will be lethal to 50% of individuals to whom such a dose is administered.
