Hi all... as an occasional dope muncher (I don't smoke), you can imagine my expression when driving through france last year I drove past 2 entire fields of cannabis! (ever seen "The beach" where they find the field - it was the same as that only the fields were bigger) Anyway, just to satisfy my curiosity I took a small sample - about a carrier bag full
After having been stopped at customs coming back, but fortunately they didn't find the bag even though it stunk to high heaven, I got back home and emptied it into a box in the greenhouse to dry the leaves off - there was also lots of seeds.
Anyway to cut a long story short the "cannabis" turned out to be hemp (I presume since it had no effect when a friend tried smoking it) - in dismay the leaves got binned and I thought that was it, however one of the seeds must of fallen out of the box because I am now the proud of owner of one very healthy 2m tall plant in the greenhouse. After all the above ramble, my simple question is this, "is there a way to make the leaves eatable/smokable?" Also, since I don't if the plant is a male or a female - is there any way of propagating it to make some more next year (softwood cuttings seem to be the best option) - but any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance
