Chavs :(

Hey everyone,

Last night I was out celebrating my friend's sister's birthday - I don't really know her that well but my friend didn't want to be out with just him and his sister and her mates so he invited me along. Anyway, towards the end of the night everyone decides they want to go to this other night club so we all leave. Now, I fucking hate night clubs, especially if they play dance music and all that crap - the only kind of clubs I like are the ones with live music, like bands and stuff. So, we get to this club and a little while later I decide to leace; i'm drunk and not really enjoying myself. On my way home I bump in to this guy that I was friends with since I was about 5 up until I was about 15/16. We stop and chat for a while and he asks if I want to go for a smoke and I say yeah, definately, but I want to go home first and get my weed because I know all he has is hash. So we go to mine and then get a taxi to his and he shows me around his apartment and then we get high and play video games, lol. Anyway, the higher I get the more I realise how this guy and all of his friends (who I used to be friends with) have turned in to total chavs. I mean, I remember when I used to hang out with them all and for a while I was the only one out of all of them who smoked weed but now they're all dealing and do nothing all day but sit around and do shotties, lines of coke and speed, and ecstacy. I found that I didn't know what to talk about after a while because we're now in to totally different things - i'm in to live music, getting high, and basically just chilling out and being cool with everyone, whereas him and all his friends are in to taking as many drugs as possible, getting in to fights and beating people up and stuff like that... It was actually really depressing to see how all of their lives are pretty much going down the drain; by that I don't mean i'm right and they're wrong, I mean alot of them are probably gonna end up in prison eventually. Anyway, I just wanted to vent because it's kinda thrown me, the way all of my old school mates are totally different now, or maybe it's me that's grown up? I dunno =/

lol. sorry, yeah it must suck, chavs are starting to become the more "popular" thing for ppl to come, i could never get a good high around chavs, i just would'nt feel comftble

lol....yeah shit like that sucks huh... its weird how you dont notice how people change untill you actually sit down with them and chat after a while.....

lots of chavs do seem to be lost in a world of drugs.....i would hate to be in that situation....but then its their choice really....its just a shame

Ya i know some people that are ruining there lives with pot. I hate hanging out with them because i feel like they are dragging me down the drain with them. I hang out with all the straight edge smokers that arent complete losers but still like to smoke.

i just feel like if i say anything out of order they'll kick my ass. which dos'nt make me feel very comfortble, plus thier all into 50 cent shit, and wud rag on me for liking plink floyd, led zep, jimi hendrix ect.
