Well, take a look at those annual issues that those crap tabloid rags like The National Enquirer publish. Every year, "phsycics" like Sylvia Brown and Jean Dixon print dozens and dozens of predictions for the next year. On average, they get maybe one or two correct - and that's taking liberties with the term "correct". Most of the "predictions" are so vague as to be applicable to almost anything if you bend the meaning enough. Shit, I can do that, too. The thing is, people tend to remember the successes and ignore the failures, regardless of the actual statistics, which is how these charlatans stay in business. And yes, they are in it for the money. Every last one of them.
