get a female first. Males will be more likely to fight over a bitch and bitch's obviously just sit there. and Im serious. Even nuterd males will go berserk over a female dog in heat. and even though they don't fight spay it to get rid of some chromosomes no bitch needs. They will also be about ten pounds lighter and much easier to handle. I typical american pit bull bitch weighs around 40 pounds while male's are permitted to get to 60
