Amsterdam Hotels + Local coffee shops

Ok man, I am American, and I have been to Amsterdam 7 fucking times, get ready for the time of ur life!! If u want a cheap Hotel, don't worry, when u get off the train there will be certain people waiting for all the backpackers and giving them flyers about cheap hotels and hostels, so this should be no prob. If u ask the clerk about coffeeshops nearby they will tell u. Whenever I went to amsterdam from england, I would fly Easy Jet.U said u were weary cause it's ur first time, It is one FUCKED UP place there is fucking people everywhere i mean hundreds of thousands of people. Also u have people in the red light district coming to u to sell drugs like crazy. And when it gets dark don't freak out, but the number of prostitutes is fucking amazing, the first time I went to the red light district and saw all the prostitutes and drug addicts doing deals right in front of u and harassing u to buy some drugs honestly it scared the fuck out of me. Me and my girlfriend ran to the nearest coffeeshop and posted up there for hours. It is a crazy world in Amsterdam, but I kept going back, But hope I have helped u man, and have a great time. but be aware, and be careful.

If u want it bad enough u will go. I had been talking about going since I was 16, well it took me a few years, but I finally got the time and god fucking sick of america so I packed up and went to europe. I have now been to Amsterdam 7 times in 4 yrs. I first went when I was 19 and am now 23, im sure I will be going back in the next yr. or so..

i was in amsterdam last summer and am there every summer not long now and i stay in the sports bar at the top of the red light district it has its own site so try look it up very cheap prob just what your looking for and right in the midde of everything walk out your hotel and coffie shops and whores all around you id also go by plane mutch quicker in the dam in 45 mins either on easy jet from stanstead or edingbrough look on there site or klm from manchester or newcastle and my fav coffie shop is the blue bird some people might think its to expencive but the choice of high quality buds and resin is amazing and the chilling couch is cool too but am sure you will find your own fav as there is plenty enjoy your trip man and happy smoking
ps yeh look out for the people on the streets just say no and walk away...

p.s can anyone really suggest the secret way of getting weed back home to the u.k, i ask one friend and he sayes post is ok wen another one say it is dodgy, then another friend said just put it in your pouch of baccy, little help please thanks

When I was feeling crazy enough to bring weed back with me, I always put it in a shampoo bottle tied to string, so I could pull it out easy. Or sometimes I sent it in the mail when I first got there so when I got back to England there was a letter waiting on me. If u have anymore questions write back on this thread, I love helping newbies when it is there first time to Amsterdam...

I never sent it in a vaccum sealed bag, I sent it in the bags I bought it in but, I put a hell of alot of pepper in the envelope, for the dogs. Also when my girl lived in holland, she used to send me hash and weed once a week by mail the same way, and none of them ever got confiscated! I dont know the chances of getting caught with the bud in ur suitcase. I have done the old shampoo trick about 3 times, I sent it by mail more times than anything. My advice to u is to wear nice clothes, don't look like ur going to amsterdam to get toasted, and try not to smoke before u get on the plane!!! anymore questions? remember, im here to help. My first time going I wrote alot of people, and I never got responses like im giving u. I looked on all kind of websites about amsterdam, and nothing compares to somebody who has actually been there several times explaining it to u step by step. If u have any questions that u think are stupid or not, let me know...

btw, the best way to get weed home is to put like a gram in an envelope and just post it home, lol. my mate did it, one got through, one got half inched by a tea leavin' postman!
