How many watts can I use without questions from Elec. Co.
I re-lamped the entire house in those 13W=42W CFL bulbs.
Costs a little more up front, but they last a long time and use a fraction of the juice of the incandescents.
Re-lamped everything. Now I go around turning off lights, saving juice etc...
1000W doesnt seem alot when you compare it to 10 100W light bulbs.
Just re-lamp your home and off set the usage with the CFL if you wanna be safe.
I figure I replaced about 20 bulbs @ 75W (1500W) with 20 bulbs @ 13W (260W)...
I saved quite a bit.
HAPPY LIGHT BULB CHANGING
HARDDON Reviewed by HARDDON on . How many watts can I use without questions from Elec. Co. I want to set up a cabinet grow thats 8 feet long and 3 feet wide. I want to use a 600w and a 400w hps inside the cabinet. Air circulation is good. Heat not a problem. The only thing is how much electricity will this box use and will it raise eyebrows from the power co. or the cops?
