New grow

My AK47 is nearly 7 weeks of 12/12. Buds are rippening, lots of trichs on AK, less on the skunk. I send 3 pics of AK47 ( 2 close-ups) and 1 of the Sensi Skunk. I'm disapointed by this grow because i made a lot of mistakes, and because the previous with Skunk Special was so awesome that now i'm sure i won't make better. The buds of this grow are not dense at all. For 1 meter plants, it won't be an awesome harvest. Next week will be a flushing week. I started checking the trichs with my scope and for the moment they are very tranlucids. Normal, 10 days left. StormCooker, were your AK buds like this ?

fhydro Reviewed by fhydro on 08-19-2005. New grow with skunk special from female seeds. The buds are so beautiful, and powerfull, i put my last 4 seeds to germ. Now they have 15 days. They should be bigger, no? What do you think ? (DWC, GH nutes, EC 1,1, 250 HPS, 20/4, 26 celsius) The roots are nice, white, 10 cm long. Fhydro Rating: 5

Yes my buds looked like that too. I had problems with mine due to lack of experience with the grow setup not to mention that I went away for 11 days and had a friend with NO experience look after them for me. I used a lot of Floraliscious in my reservoir as prescibed which must have helped a lot because no matter how screwed up the grow was, those buds are still kickin' my ass today. Everyone RAVED about it. The stickiest icky ever. It does what it says and yours will too.

that's funny you have that same leaf tip "burn" like I have on my GF end EB now. Can't figure if it's nute burn or heat burn. Cal-mag seems to help, Silica blast too. There's a science to pH levels that I'm figuring out now. Don't be disapointed by your yield with this grow. Your end result will be worth the time and effort. It' s a good strong sativa that keeps you up and going.

leaf tips burnt are a consequence of nute burn. That's what i learnt the last 2 months. A lot of leaves are impacted, next grow i will put less nutes, better and cheaper also.

How about heat? Are you sure it's not heat? what were your ppm's throughout the grow? I did order those skunk specials. Any advice on that strain with nute plan? what was your ppm throughout that grow?

I follow the nutrient feeding chart that GH Flora series publishes. I have a bit of a heat problem too. Since the nutrient feed chart isn't designed solely for cannabis cultivation, maybe I should use a little less than they recomend?

yesterday , before i add the co2, the EC meter was saying 1.5 in both tanks

36 hrs later the EC meter reads 0.85 & 0.9, it seems someone is sucking up the nutrients, i wonder who

anyway, i plan on changing the water on the tanks tomorrow instead of monday and will keep changing it every sunday from now on...

18 days from seed 16 days into the nft trays and the plants are going to grow like monsters, look at the pics that i took an hour ago

your plants look great, i wish mine will look just as big, fat and juicy

StormCooker, i've been without computer since sunday. Right! Skunk Special is very resistant to over fert, so you will have less problem. Yes i'm sure it's over fert and not heat burn. I ran 2 till 2.8 EC in the flo stage, and 1.5 during the veg stage. My temp was max 30° Celsius. And i did not have lots of over ferts problem. Far less than with AK47. About the yield ! I get 280 grams of dry smokable manicured buds on 4 plants, one bud is 30 grams!!! The smallest plant 56 gr, and the biggest 110 gr!! The stone before curing is already amazing, very strong, but indica's high. Very physical, i'm waiting for the AK47 testing plan... There are in last week, flushed.

Enjoyable thread. Very nice work
