People in general are stupid. Through years and years of observation, I have come to the conclusion that either the vast majority of people are stupid, or I am just incredibly intelligent, or both. And it seems that among these stupid people, a lot of them can only feel better about themselves by ridiculing others. I have determined that this usually correlates to some other weakness that the stupid person has and feels vulnerable for, so they need to assert their superiority by making fun of things which don't really matter (being fat, having glasses, being gay, whatever). But of course they are not actually maintaining any kind of superiority but rather making their idiocy all the more transparent.
