different colognes smell a little different on different people after they soak in. Go to a mall with lots of samples and try on a bunch of stuff to see what you like. Better yet, if you know a girl who would go with you, see what she likes. I have even asked some random girls in the store what they thought. Most of the time they are flatered that you would ask them and also someone you never met has an unbiased opinion. This has led me to usually use calvin klein escape.
