Most places will ask you if you're willing to take a drug test as a condition of employment, if you answer "No" it is a good indication that you're a drug user, it does not necessarily mean they will drug test you though and as far as I know Stop and Shop does not.

I just applied for a summer job at my local Stop & Shop supermarket and the application said a drug test may be a condition of employment, and I'm a pretty regular smoker. Now I have friends who read the same thing on the applications for their various jobs, yet never got tested. I was wondering if anybody else has information about Stop & Shop's (or the supermarket business in general) drug test policy because I want to know if I should be worried or not. Thanks! Rating: 5
