What am I looking for? When you buy Salvia what is a good potency? 5x-40x
Where is a cheap place to buy? What is it supposed to look like? Is it best to buy the leaves, incense, or the extract??

ust give any details on this substance which seems to be a new reality.

I would suggest that you do what a friend of mine did the first time that he bought. Buy some 5x, some 10x, some 15x, some 20x, and some 45x.

Start off slow! You don't want to have a crazy, 45x experience your first time and get turned off Salvia. Start off with 5x a few times, then go to 10x, etc.

You probably don't want to get the leaves, because you would have to smoke many bowls of them to get the effects, and that's no fun.

I don't really know any good Salvia websites.. I think that http://www.Iamshaman.com is supposed to be pretty good.

So what is this incense stuff that is mentioned a lot in searches on Salvia? Is Salvia incense the stuff that is good to smoke??

Yes, I'm pretty sure the "incense" is good to smoke. They have to label it as incense because it technically is illegal to sell it if labeled okay for human consumption. They are not allowed to sell it unless they mark it "Not safe for human consumption".

I wouldn't buy anything higher than 5x, maybe 10x. It does the same thing, but you have to smoke more of it if it's 5 or 10x, so it's harder to fuck up the dosage. Look on http://www.erowid.org/plants/salvia/salvia.shtml for details of dosage.

id get 10x for your first time hempmasta is right about high potency salvia getting you turned off of it. my friend tried 40x his first time and will never touch the shit again. 10x is perfect for a beginner in my opinion

So with the leaf, how much would you have to smoke to get as fucked as the extract makes you? is there a general ratio or guestimate? example, you've gotta smoke 3 times as much leaf as extract to get you just as fucked?

I smoked Salvia for the first time a few days ago, and the 5x is just fine for starting out.

I tried salvia for the first time yesterday. The 5x I had didn't do what I wanted it too. Just some cool close eyed visuals and a really drunk/dexed out feeling. But I think I'll try it again later with maybe a higher dosage.

(I've also read that some people may need to try it 2 or 3 times to feel the full effects. Is this true?)
