If you go to any officer training and when they are sworn in you would know that a police officers job is "To Uphold the Law" and they will do whatever it takes to do that job.

I am not aginst cops in general, but there are too many crooked cops now, and it's even worse in small town USA here. Where Officer Billy Bob is best friend's with under age drunk, and stoned, Danny's father, so he just lets him off with a warning. Yet Officer Billy Bob don't know Law Respectabl Mr. Larry and just because Mr. Larry didn't stop 100% at a stop sign, even though no one was coming the other way, He give him a ticket.

I think to say we hate cops is the same mentality that people had against Jews, Blacks, or any other group treated poorly. Yes, some cops are jerks, I have some asshole cops in my town too. But in general, cops that is, arnt they people to? Are they not people just doing their job? Do what they are paid to do? Some cops do meanwhile, to protect and serve.
