Yeah, that maybe one of the more ignorant things I've ever heard. Straight edge kids don't do drugs/alcohol/cigs etc. Assholes are people that jump other people for not being the same. Sometimes straight edgers are assholes, i would say most of the time they have nothing to do with each other. I was straigt-edge for many years, and had plenty of friends who used drugs, and quite frankly i was for legalization etc. I just didn't want that shit in my life.

Again, this has nothing to do with emo. Its a name for a lifestyle choice. That lifestyle being no drugs, period. Most don't even use otc pain killers and such.

actually my sister's straight edge (other than the whole... premarital sex part), and she recently found out that I smoke (quote, "are you a fucking STONER?") and she didn't speak to me for a few weeks. she still hates my dad for it. intolerant straight-edgers are why maryjane is still illegal.

forestcouch, sorry if i offended you but the ones over here do jump poeple of that being my best friend who is the hospital at the moment. Straight Edges are an extreme porblem where i live.
