pruning before budding?
That is really a wives tale. Most people use the lower branches as clones. They make a lolly pop type of plant. The lower branches don't get as much light as the tops do so smaller buds. If you have side lighting then the lower branches will yield as much buds as the tops do and you will have increased overall weight of the finished plant.
Zandor Reviewed by Zandor on . pruning before budding? hey i am putting my plants into bud and I want to know if i should prune the bottom few branches. I've heard that this will make the top buds bigger and better but i'm really not sure. I pinched 3 of them 1 week ago, all are doing well. one of the plants actually sprouted 3 main leads. cool. also how does heat affect the buds? because i'm really looking for good tight buds, but a lot of homegrown i see is always fluffy. i dont want a bunch of fluffy buds i want nugs so any help is greatly Rating: 5
