I didn't try cubed, but crushed ice seems to work pretty fucking good. This wasn't about filtering the weed, but cooling it down. If cooling is most important, then forgoing water is quite beneficial.

Three university friends came over, and we smoked 4g of it over about 4 hours. Moderate smokers, we were suprised at our ability to take monster hits, as the smoke felt like cool vapor; even smoother than a menthol cigarette. What do you guys think?
