somebody someone Reviewed by somebody someone on 06-01-2005. Bong In Freezer - Amazing! I filled my red acrylic bong with crushed ice and placed it in the deep-freeze for six hours. Three university friends came over, and we smoked 4g of it over about 4 hours. Moderate smokers, we were suprised at our ability to take monster hits, as the smoke felt like cool vapor; even smoother than a menthol cigarette. What do you guys think? I didn't try cubed, but crushed ice seems to work pretty fucking good. This wasn't about filtering the weed, but cooling it down. If cooling is most important, then forgoing water is quite beneficial.

Yea been doin it for about 10 years.
Same thing with bt bottles and tubes for smokin honey oil 'bbq style'

On a side note, you know how they make those drink mugs with the side walls filled with water, so you can freeze the mugs themselves to make your drink cold?

They need to make a bong like that, with all sorts of tubes criscrossing the chamber as well. Just put the thing in the freezer a few hours before your session, and you're good to go!

No, it becomes frozen solid, but because of the crushed and chipped ice, it freezes into an uneven mass with room to let the smoke escape.

Why doesn't it smell from the cold temp?

...well i know this from phsycics and shyt (didn't take a class i just have a real good natural understand to it) i would guess that the coldness woudln't let the particles flow as easily therefore reducing the smell of it.....that would be my only guess...and the best guess since weed is better smelled (in my own experiences) in wamer tempatures......ie. i can smell the neighbor smoking weed all the time durring sumer but can't smell shyt once winter hits....
